ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SADC EPA STATES, ON THE ONE SIDE, AND THE EUROPEAN UNION AND ITS MEMBER STATES, ON THE OTHER SIDE

1. This Agreement has the following objectives:
2. contribute to the reduction and eradication of poverty through the establishment of a commercial partnership consistent with the sustainable development objectives, the MDGs and the Cotonou Agreement;
   promote regional integration, economic cooperation and good governance to establish and implement an effective, predictable and transparent regional regulatory framework for trade and investment between SADC EPA Parties and States;
