Mozambique accelerates reforms to facilitate trade and boost competitiveness

The Minister of Economy, Basílio Muhate, chaired the First Ordinary Session of the Steering Committee of the National Trade Facilitation Committee (CNFC), which brought together representatives from the government, the private sector, and cooperation partners.

During the session, priorities were defined to improve the business environment, modernize trade processes, boost export competitiveness, and reduce bottlenecks at the country’s key border crossings.

These measures reinforce the government’s commitment to an economy that is more efficient, integrated, and geared towards sustainable growth.
